Forms in Illustrator using Blend Tool

In Digital Art class, it is quite the challenge to find the purpose using some software tools.  Illustrator’s Blend Tool for example is used to make complex form blends to help sell the believability in shading in 3d forms.  But, I think there is something more.  I got into it a bit and really started to like playing with these wafer-like pieces. Topography and 3d form all referenced by repetition and shape change.  Beautiful rhythm can be achieved.  I also started to map different brush shapes on top of these topologies in Photoshop.  Turned out to be a way to explore more.
