From a post-it-note, I sketched out the type “No Boundaries”. I wanted to play around with the notion of confining spaces and areas that go unexplored, so I kept the treatment small proportionally to the 24×35″ poster. Post-it was scanned and cleaned up in Illustrator. Gridded off the other info for the show.
An evolution of Four Walls: Four Artists, No Boundaries is a juried art exhibition open to all Tarrant County College Northwest studio art students. The No Boundaries premise is to encourage creative freedom, think outside-the-box and to create a work in any medium and subject. Imagination is the only limitation. Four students or collaborative groups (no more than three artists in a collaborative group) will be selected by a panel of jurors and given one of the gallery’s walls to create an original work. The artist may choose to work directly on the wall or add to elements to the wall or space surrounding the space using the media and content of their choice.
